It combines two of my great loves, cooking and books, in 100 recipes from favourite stories/books.
The recipes are arranged around times of the day. However, I feel that most people picking up this book will be more interested in going through the whole book to see what books have been included or use the contents page to flick to their favourite books/characters.
The production is gorgeous. It has that vital book ribbon and the endpapers with their shelves of novels etc are another nice feature to pore over. Each section e.g. The Dinner Table is marked with a beautiful photograph.
The grand finale of this book is Christmas Dinner (no prizes for guessing that most of these recipes come from Dickens…) I think that this book will be a perfect Christmas present for cooks who love books !
