Return of the granny lamp

Remember these lampshades - fringed and tasseled, with a wire frame and a curved shape? You'd see them topping standard lamp, or miniaturised and popped onto branches of chandelier. Well, now they're back, and gracing the hippest homes.

I found some Liberty print ones on etsy.com for £42.49 and a set of three for £175 on notonthehighstreet.com. My favourite is the Giraffe print in mono satin £295 annahaymandesighns.com. You can be lucky in vintage shops (Dig for Vintage, Ryde, I.O.W) or for those creative people, you could get a frame and cover one in the fabric of your choice.
