Lucy Green Designs produces tableware and textiles, designed to be used, shared and loved everyday.
Created using hand carved stamps and watercolour paints, Lucy’s designs are inspired by her rural surroundings and family life. Beautifully simple designs and limited colours combine to create contemporary yet timeless pieces.
Our tableware is made from white bone china. From the beginning, Lucy embraced the wonderful properties and appearance of china, but wanted to create pieces with a relaxed, friendly feel - to be joyful little additions to daily family life.
It was important that the products be both lovely to look at and a pleasure to use every day.
Mugs that are both comfortable to hold yet just the right size; thickly padded oven gloves, that are just the right length with comfortably sized hand pockets; serving bowls deep enough to hold a leafy salad or a buttery pile of new potatoes and a breakfast cup and saucer that is big enough to brew a cup of tea for one. And, just as importantly, our fine bone china is happy to go in the dishwasher and our kitchen textiles are machine washable.
