HIGHCLERE CASTLE
I enjoyed exploring the history, gardens, events and life behind the scenes of "The Real Downton Abbey". Highclere is a beautiful Castle and landscape.
Highclere Castle is a country house in the Jacobethan style by the architect Charles Barry, with a park designed by Capability Brown. The 5,000-acre estate is in Hampshire, England, about 5 miles south of Newbury, Berkshire.
It's just breathtaking and magnificent. Staff are wonderful. When you see it up close, you get chills...its just grand. already Planning for my next visit.
